Today we are showing you one of those cases we love, because they show us there are no limits when treating a patient with clear aligners.
As you can see in the images, the patient came to the practice with several very serious problems that were causing her severe TMJ pain and serious gum problems:
- Severe crowding in both the lower and the upper arch
- A class III malocclusion: this happens when the lower molars sit too far forward and do not meet their corresponding upper molars
- A very severe open bite caused by the poor position of her teeth
How did we solve this case?
The woman came to us in despair, because she refused to have extractions or surgery. As soon as he saw her case, Dr. Peydro decided to treat her with clear aligners.
After very thorough treatment planning, and in little over a year, the change in this patient’s smile (as you can see in the images) has been spectacular.
We have completely eliminated the crowding she had, as well as the open bite and the class III malocclusion.
