With the teeth correctly aligned, the next stage of the treatment was teeth whitening. That step is crucial to ensure an even, bright tooth color before the composite veneers are applied.
The final stage of the treatment focused on the look of the teeth. Dr. Marta Peydro took charge of this stage, applying composite veneers to improve the shape, size and overall appearance of the patient’s teeth.
Applying the composite veneers involved several stages. First the teeth were prepared, cleaning and conditioning them to receive the composite. Dr. Peydro then applied the composite in thin layers, sculpting and shaping each tooth to reach the desired shape and size. Once satisfied with the appearance, the composite layers were cured with a special light and, finally, the teeth were polished for a natural, bright finish.
The final result was a remarkable transformation. The patient went from widely spaced teeth of irregular shape to a perfectly aligned, harmonious and bright smile. The combination of clear aligners, teeth whitening and composite veneers improved not only her appearance but also her confidence and general wellbeing.
