After orthodontic treatment the teeth take up a new position, but once the aligners or brackets come off we still have certain habits — the way we chew, the pressure we put on our lips or how we move our tongue — that can change the final result of the treatment. Which dental retainers do we recommend?
There are countless dental retainers on the market, but some are better than others. In the past, dentists tended to fit fixed retainers; today removable clear retainers are recommended for their many advantages. How should I look after my retainers?

- Clean your retainers before putting them in. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and water.
- Do not use denture cleaners to clean the aligners, and do not use mouthwash. It can affect the color.
- Do not use hot water to clean them
