This young man came to our clinic with very low self-esteem because of a major esthetic problem. For years he had been unhappy with his smile and was even self-conscious about it.

When he went looking for a solution, several dental practices told him his problem was very complex and that it was impossible to achieve the result he was hoping for. Faced with those answers, this young patient came to Clínica Peydro in search of a solution.
From the outset we approached this multidisciplinary case in a young patient as if our lives depended on it. The first thing we did was carry out an in-depth assessment of the case so as to apply the Peydro protocols to the smile design.
First, as you can see, we detected that the patient had a narrow mouth and was missing several permanent teeth, to the point of still having some baby teeth.
The treatment carried out after the preliminary study
The treatment plan consisted first of Invisalign clear aligner treatment. That treatment was carried out in order to widen the dental arches and achieve correct alignment and a correct bite.
Thanks to the orthodontic treatment we were able to distribute the spaces properly so that we could then place implants where the baby teeth were and then esthetically restore the teeth that were worn or not the right size.
Finally, the patient had teeth whitening to bring the brightness back to his smile.
This multidisciplinary case in a young patient was solved in a year and a half of treatment, using Invisalign clear aligners, advanced implant dentistry, porcelain veneers and teeth whitening. With those four treatments we achieved an excellent result that has improved this patient’s life and self-esteem, as you can see in the photograph.
