Clear aligners and teeth whitening for a more beautiful smile
Did you know that improving the look of your smile can give your self-esteem a real boost? Every day we see dozens of patients who come to our practice embarrassed to smile and thinking their problem is hard to solve.
Today we are introducing one of those patients, Encarna. She came to our clinic after several months of doubt and uncertainty, since she thought her case was going to be more complex and that she would need some teeth taken out.

The patient could see that her teeth were visibly worn and that the problem was getting worse over time. Encarna was also unhappy with the color of her teeth, something she was very self-conscious about and that stopped her smiling as much as she wanted.
Dr. Marta Peydro and Dr. Diego Peydro analyzed her case carefully and decided to approach it on two fronts:
Stage 1: clear aligner treatment. The aim of the orthodontic treatment was to design a wide arch, improve the deep bite and improve the angle of the teeth, since they had negative torque.
What the orthodontic treatment set out to do was reduce the bruxism that was gradually wearing her teeth down, and also correct some severe rotations she had in several teeth, especially in the upper jaw.
Stage 2: teeth whitening. After the clear aligner treatment, teeth whitening was carried out with Dr. Marta Peydro to bring back the natural color of her teeth.
Thanks to this treatment Encarna now has a wide, symmetric smile, balanced with her face. We have also managed to tuck the lower incisors away a little so that they do not show so much when she smiles.
