Every week at Clínica Peydro we see patients who tell us the same thing:
“I do not like my smile, but I do not want it to look like I am wearing something artificial.”
And we understand that perfectly. Porcelain veneers have become enormously popular as an esthetic treatment, but they have also raised a lot of questions. Do they look natural? Do they change your face too much? Can people tell?
Today we are sharing a case that answers all of those questions.
A smile that was misaligned, dull and out of balance
Our patient came to the practice with a smile that did not represent her. She had several areas of wear, an uneven color and a tooth shape that did not fit her features. Functionally everything was fine, but her smile did not match the rest of her face.
After a complete clinical and esthetic assessment, Dr. Marta Peydro proposed an esthetic rehabilitation with porcelain veneers. The aim? Not just to improve the smile but to integrate it naturally into her facial expression.
Porcelain veneers: precision and harmony in every detail
Porcelain veneers make it possible to change the color, shape and position of a tooth with minimal intervention. But what matters most is not what is changed: it is how it is changed.
In our approach, we analyze:
- The middle third of the face
- The proportion between teeth, gums and lips
- The shape of the teeth in relation to the facial features
- The way the patient expresses themselves when speaking and smiling
In other words, we do not design generic smiles: we adapt them to each person’s unique identity.

The result: a smile that looks like it has always been hers
Once the veneers were fitted, the patient was moved when she saw herself in the mirror. The smile fitted perfectly with the rest of her face. It did not draw attention artificially, and it did not look overcorrected or forced.
It simply looked right. As if it had always been there.
