Today at Clínica Peydro we are presenting the case of a patient who came to our clinic looking for a way to improve the look of her smile. She decided on orthodontic treatment after seeing several success stories on our social media and getting good feedback from people close to her who had already visited our dental practice in Valencia for Invisalign clear aligner treatment.
This patient had a very narrow smile, which gave her a pointed arch: her upper incisors stuck out, increasing the risk of dental trauma as well as looking somewhat unattractive. Although she came to the practice very motivated to have a beautiful smile, the truth is that she did not want to wear braces, so she was delighted to learn that we could solve her case with Invisalign clear aligners.

Behind every good Invisalign case there always has to be a good diagnosis and a good treatment plan, which is why we always pay particular attention to this part. When we analyzed the patient’s situation, we saw that she had:
- Very narrow dental arches
- An arrow-shaped upper arch
- Visibly locked lower teeth, which caused considerable crowding of the lower incisors and increased the curve of Spee
- Occlusal interferences
- A tendency towards an anterior bite, because the bite does not have enough room to fit into the upper jaw, which leaves it rotated backwards
- Deviated dental midlines
- Problems in the temporomandibular joint
