What are Spark clear aligners?
Spark is a new clear aligner technique developed on the basis of protocols by the Valencian dentist Diego Peydro. It is a pioneering system at the cutting edge of technology in the field, since it can treat any kind of malocclusion. It combines the aligners with a 3D planning system that makes it possible to study the whole process of moving the teeth, so the patient can see the final result of the treatment even before it begins.
It is practically invisible and nobody will notice the patient is wearing it. And because it uses no metal parts at all, it does not cause the uncomfortable rubbing of a traditional orthodontic system.

When the multinational Ormco, a leading name in its field, began work on creating Spark, it was clear about the need to involve a specialist dentist in the project. So this product was developed on the basis of protocols by the renowned Valencian dentist and orthodontist, who is not only the only doctor in the world to have been part of the project but is also the only one who can run training courses for other orthodontists. Those courses have been running since last September.
Differences from other clear aligner systems.
Spark aims to make life a little easier for both the patient and the dentist. For the patient, the technique improves comfort, since the material is slightly more flexible. That said, Dr. Peydro also recognizes the many merits of Invisalign and uses both systems depending on the case, choosing whichever suits the needs of the treatment and the expected results.
